Git to the Gittin’
HIGHCLIMBER is an audio adventure in the tradition of the great 1930s radioplay.
Through rich narration, authentic and emotional performances, stirring music, and an immersive soundscape, HIGHCLIMBER will surely sweep you into a great Western adventure!
A desperate farmer leaves wife and children, following his volatile brother West to stake their claim in the savage 1890's timber boom.

I wrote Highclimber many years ago as a fragile first attempt at solo screenwriting. To further explore how to direct actors and orchestrate scenes, I created semi-animated storyboard for the movie with a full cast of actors and the great Lou Dezseran narrating scene direction.
The experience reminded me of the old time radioplays like Orson Welles’s “War of the Worlds” and I vowed to someday finish the production in that tradition using modern techniques. Cue global pandemic and here we are.
HIGHCLIMBER was mostly inspired by my experience growing up in a small Pacific Northwest lumber town with many loggers in my family, and many summers spent living in the mountains while my father carved out forest management roads. It was a wild ride and I hoped to capture that spirit in HIGHCLIMBER.
Enjoy! 🥰
